Marie James

Marie James, 80, of Hull, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
The daughter of the late Clarence W. James and Thelma Mae Christian James, Marie lived her entire life in Madison County. She was a hard worker who worked for 39 years at General Time and 5 years for the University of Georgia. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church. Marie always stayed busy and loved being outside and being with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hugh James.
Marie is survived by her siblings: Mary Sue James, Dennis (Shirley) James of Homer, and Linda James; sister-in-law Paulette James; nieces Elaine Carter, Angie Fitzpatrick, and Tonya Blair; nephew Allan James; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 16 at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Chris Bailey, Morris Sapp, and Mike Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
