Marcelle "Marcy" Kilgore

Frances Marcelle Bandy Kilgore passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, while under the watchful care of loving Highland Hills Memory Care staff.

Temporarily displaced because of a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, Marcie (or Marcy) was a life-long resident of Murray County, Georgia. James Avington Kilgore preceded his wife in death. Marcie was born December 7, 1934, to the late Deette and John R. Bandy. Her only surviving sibling is Rachel Poteet of Dalton, Georgia. Other survivors are her children:  Ann Kilgore, Kay K. Brown, and Lyn K. Johnson and their spouses. Calling her Gran are Daniel Baggett, Hannah Baggett, Zech Johnson, Andy Brown, Tucker Brown, Leanna Brown, and great-grandchildren Gage, Owen, Avington, Thomas, Elsie, Charlotte, Lillie, and Owen.

Services will be later this spring at Marcy’s beloved First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.
