Malinda Morris Sartain

Malinda Morris Sartain, 79, died May 17, 2026.

A native and lifelong resident of Colbert, GA, she was a daughter of the late Hobson and Dorothy Palmer Morris. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Janet Morris and a great grandchild, Greyson Duncan.

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville. A private interment will follow.

Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Mitchell Sartain; two sons, Todd (Janet) Sartain and John (Terri) Sartain; sister, Fay (Jack) Sims of Gillsville, GA; brother, Mike (Jean) Morris of Colbert, GA; four grandchildren, Lindsey Goodrich, Kyle Sartain, Gwendolyn Sartain and Eli Sartain; five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
