Lorene Shaddix, 78, died Saturday, April 14, 2012.
A native of Wedowee, Al., she was the daughter of the late Hulsey and Sarah Sellers Shaddix. She was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ben Luther, grandson, Donnie Michael Sprayberry, sisters, Gertrude Sprayberry, Aliene Thomas and Alma Sprayberry.
Survivors include her children: David, Donnie, Diane, Pam and Lora Sprayberry, Eddie Luther; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11AM at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors with Rev. Carlton Shelton officiating. Burial: Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday at the funeral home.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
