Linda J. “Dodi” Still, 78, of Statham, Georgia, passed away on August 20, 2026 after a short but hard fight with cancer. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 14, 1948.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was happily married to her beloved husband, Quinton Still, for nearly 52 years. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, faith, community, and a shared commitment to helping others.
Linda dedicated much of her life to serving her community. She was a firefighter and EMT, as well as a CPR instructor, sharing her knowledge and experience to help prepare others to save lives. She was deeply involved in her community and spent many years serving alongside her husband. Her willingness to help others and her compassion for those around her left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Linda also enjoyed a long career in healthcare, retiring as an Accounts Manager from St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Whether through her work or simply being there for the people she loved, Linda had a gift for caring for others.
Above all else, Linda cherished her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Quinton Still; her mother, Janie Moose; her sisters, Cindy Templeton and Donna Poole; her children, Ken Jordan (Kim), Scott Jordan, Jason Still (Tammy), and Stacey Sullivan (Jay); 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jay Moose; her sister, Carolyn Hedrick; and her granddaughter, Briann Wells.
Linda will be remembered for her generous heart, her dedication to serving others, her strength, and, most of all, the love she gave so freely to her family. She leaves behind a legacy that will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many lives she touched throughout her years of service.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that the love she gave throughout her 78 years will continue to live on in those who knew and loved her.
