Linda Sharon Allen

Linda Sharon Allen, born on March 15, 1944, passed away peacefully in Athens, Georgia on January 19, 2026. The daughter of the late, Bennett & Doris Well. She was a devoted follower of Christ and a dedicated member of Beechaven Baptist Church, where she actively served in the youth department and participated in various mission trips, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her faith and community.

Throughout her life, Linda opened her heart and home to those in need, particularly through her involvement with the Covenant Care Program for young women. She was known for leading by example, sharing her faith with others through acts of compassion and understanding. Linda’s nurturing spirit and dedication to service left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda is survived by her three loving sons, Dwayne Allen (Laura), Jerry Allen (Michelle), and Chet Allen (Melanie), who will forever cherish her memory. She was a proud grandmother to Cameron, Carson, Gabriel (Katherine), Justin, Alexander, Jacob, and Delaney, each carrying a piece of her legacy in their hearts. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Patti Cryar.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Joseph Allen, whose memory lives on through her family and the many lives she touched.

A visitation will take place on January 22, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes Watkinsville, located at 1211 Jimmy Daniel Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677, with Pastor John Walker officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather together to honor her remarkable life and to celebrate the faith that guided her every step.
