Lewis Benson Brooks, 78, of Colbert, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Born in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Lewis Benson Brooks III and Juanita Benton Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves and worked in Autobody Repair at Hamby's Auto Shop.
Survivors include his cherished wife of 60 years, Janice Gail Brooks; sons, Jeffery Dwayne Brooks (Kathy), Kenneth William Brooks (Tonya) and Robert Benson Brooks; sister, Sheryl Brooks Fletcher; grandchildren, Anthony, Matt (Stephanie), Joseph and Devon Brooks; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Henry Brooks; aunt, Elaine Beck and two nephews and one niece.
No services are planned at this time.
