Winder, GA
Lena Poss 93, of Winder, GA passed away October 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late, Charlie and Nellie Gearin; also preceded by her husband, Dan Poss; brothers and sister, John Gearin, Evelyn Messer, and Charles Gearin. She was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Tuesday 2:30pm at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. The family will have a visitation prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include: daughter, Jackie Sorrells; grandson, Matt (Jodi) Sorrells; and great grandchildren, Caden Sorrells and Bridget Sorrells.
