Athens, GA - Leigh Allison Norred Pope, 29, wife of David C. Pope, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
Born in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of William P. and Carol Nelson Norred. Leigh was a wonderful friend of many people though out the Athens area, touching and enriching their lives in so many ways. She was a fabulous mother to her three week old daughter, Haley Grace Pope, loving wife to David C. Pope, and sister and sister in law to Amy Norred (Jack) Lefebvre. Leigh was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to any First American Bank, earmarked Haley Grace Pope Fund.
Arrangements under the direction of Lord & Stephens East Chapel.
