Lawrence Steed Parker, 76, died January 28, 2011.
A native of Greene County, GA, he was a son of the late Sarah Albert and George Steed Parker and was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Parker. He was maintenance supervisor with Highland Hills Condominiums and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Memorial services will be Monday, January 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Brett Mask officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce S. Parker; son, Antonia (Jenny) Steed Parker; stepchildren, Sandra Joyce (Wayne) Griffeth and Robert (Cindy) Dove; sister, Harriet Sanders; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
