Larry Dwayne Kidd

Larry Dwayne Kidd, 70, husband of Gwen Morris Kidd, died on January 4, 2024. Born in Elberton, GA, Dwayne as he was known by his family,  was the son of the late Richard O’Neal Kidd and Betty White Kidd.  He retired from Dupont after more than 30 years and for 10 years he worked as a consultant for Capgemini. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. Survivors in addition to his wife Gwen include two children: Dawn K. (Grant) Belk and Zach (LeAnn) Kidd; four grandchildren: Jacey (Josh) Weaver, Redden Belk, Whit Belk and Annie Kidd and his two fur babies, Ruby and Molly. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel. Interment will follow at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4PM until 6PM on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter or to Union Baptist Church.
