Larry Bryant Potts

Larry Bryant Potts, 87, of Bogart, GA passed away in his home on May 12, 2025. Born on October 23, 1937, son of the late Joseph Thomas Potts and Virgie Bryant Potts. Along with his parents and siblings, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Potts Smith (Ricky).He is survived by his wife, Celeste Potts; daughters, Nancy Potts Haney (Shannon) and Ginger Potts Antwine (Todd); and stepson, Barry “Chip” James Jr. (Lisa). As a proud grandfather, Larry was blessed with grandchildren, Nick Arostegui, Lauren Hunter, Kellie Fletcher (Kenny), Grant Antwine (Elizabeth), Mason Antwine (Ashley), Wesley James, Becka James, Jessica James, as well as his great grandchildren Rylan Harris, Rowen Harris, Senna Fletcher and Eden Fletcher.Larry was always known to be a hard worker. He loved being outside and getting his hands dirty. He ran his own business for 50 plus years, Larry Potts Dragline Service. He loved spending time with his family and traveling "rambling around as he would say" with his wife of 23 years taking trips to the mountains. Larry was an avid UGA fan and enjoyed Saturdays in Sanford Stadium. He had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 11AM at Lord and Stephens West in Watkinsville, Ga. The family will receive friends beginning at 10AM until service time.
