Larry Scott Kesterson ”aka Pawpaw”, 59, passed away on July 18, 2026.

Scott dedicated 14 years of service as an electrician with Magnera, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft.

He is survived by his loving parents, Monen Ross Kesterson and Dorothy Mae Kesterson; his beloved partner of 12 years, Theresa Kemp; his children, Jessica Shirey (Kris), Eric Kesterson (Meagan), and Lauren Kesterson; his cherished grandchildren, Amelia Shirey, Violet Shirey, Isabella Shirey, Camryn Shirey, Wilson Kesterson, Oakleigh Kesterson, and Everett Kesterson; his brother, Ross Kesterson; and his sister, Virginia Beavers.

Scott found one of his greatest joys in the outdoors. He loved bass and crappie fishing, deer hunting, and spending time on the water whenever he could. An avid collector, he enjoyed gathering antique fishing lures, rods, and fishing memorabilia over the years. He also had a passion for woodworking, creating projects with skill, patience, and pride. His greatest joy and deepest pride he found in spending time with and caring for his grandchildren.

Lord and Stephens Danielsville has been entrusted with arrangements.
