While surrounded by family and friends, Kristopher 'Braden' Teat, 25, of Watkinsville, walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 12, 2014 after battling injuries due to a fall resulting from a major seizure.
He was born in Athens, GA., on November 13, 1988. Braden attended schools in Oconee County and graduated from Oconee County High School in 2007. Some of his favorite activities included spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and making new friends. He was an avid water skier, loved computers and electronics, and had a passion for music. Braden will be remembered for his charming personality, his kindheartedness and love for others, and his infectious laughter and smile.
Braden was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas Howard Meeler and Katie B. Meeler of Athens, GA.; paternal grandparents, John and Lois Teat of Athens, GA.; and father Kenneth B.
