Kenneth Peck

July 23, 1946 — September 10, 2023

Allan Kenneth Peck, 77, died on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Born in Putnam County, GA, he was the son of the late John A. Peck and Virginia Harper Peck and brother to the late Douglas Peck. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of the Farmington Community.  He was a founding member of the South Oconee Volunteer Fire Department (Station 2) where he served the community for 42 years.  Kenneth was a founder and co-owner of P & P Grading and Landscaping that he and his family operated for more than 40 years. He was a man of many trades including farming, building, upholstery, mechanics, and restoring antique cars.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law: Greg and Deborah Peck; daughter and son in law: Julie and Karl Steinbeck; siblings and their spouses: JA (Laverne) Peck, Walter (Janice) Peck, Evelyn Helms, Jerry (Jerrilynn) Peck and Cindy (Marty Brown) Peck; grandchildren: Allen (Tamie) Peck, Clayton (Holli) Peck, Samantha (Alex) Shouse, Emily Steinbeck and Hunter Steinbeck; great grandchildren: Lainey Saxon, Lacey, Luke, Reagan and McKenzie Peck, Judson Shouse and special friend, Harriett Elder.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11AM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen Peck, Clayton Peck, Luke Peck, Hunter Steinbeck, Alex Shouse and Jesus Ceniceros. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Murrow, Doyle Ivie, David Shadley, Jud Shivar and Gary Hammond. The family will receive friends from 6PM until 8PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Farmington Community Center, C/O Michael Hale, 1901 Salem Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
