Ken Owens, 50, died January 24, 2014.
A native of Barrow County, GA, he was a son of Becky Sweatman of Statham and the late Jimmy Dale Owens. Mr. Owens was a truck driver for over thirty years and also a farmer for many years.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at New Town Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include four children, Chris (Amanda) Owens, Josh (Jennifer) Owens, Justin Owens and Zachary Owens; two sisters, Sharon Fowler of Ila and Lisa Greenlee of Winder; four grandchildren, Dayton, Briar, Brett and Adison.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
