Karin McEndree

Karin McEndree of Commerce, GA, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023 with her family by her side.  Born in Berlin, Germany on May 16, 1948, she was the daughter of Heinrich Hakelberg and Elfriede Wasserman.  While still young, Karin immigrated to the U.S. in 1965. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel widely and live in many placed during her life. Karin loved traveling, crafting and spending time with her family and beloved dog, Mickey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sensing, and her brother Peter Hakelberg.

Survivors include: daughter, Donna Scarborough, and husband, John Scarborough; son, Daniel Brown and wife, Leslie Hackett; grandchildren Steven Casey, Marius Brown and Julius Brown; and great-grandchildren, John Preston Casey and Conner Casey.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 at 12:00 noon, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM and interment at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org), or a charity of your choice.
