Karen Elizabeth Fortson, 65, of Nicholson, GA, passed away on August 30, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Ruth Lewis.

Funeral service is Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel, with Pastor Andy Wilson officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home prior to the service, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Survivors include: Husband, Ronnie Fortson; son and daughter, Kevin Fortson and Kellye Fortson; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Lewis, Robert Lewis, Marianne Frye, Diane Cullen, and Susan Johnson.
