Julie Newton Robertson

Maxeys, GA - Julie Newton Robertson died January 11, 2014.
Born April 25, 1956 in Waynesboro, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Charlotte Newton. She grew up in Waynesboro and relocated to Maxeys in 1972 where she made her home to the present. Julie was a graduate of Oglethorpe County High School and attended Georgia College at Milledgeville. She married Wendell Marion Robertson (deceased) from Maxeys and worked side by side with him as a store owner in the area and also worked as a first responder.
Julie was a beloved sister and aunt to Melanie Newton Williams of Beaufort, SC, Beth Newton Anderson (deceased) of Charleston, SC, Nan Newton Demsky of Maxeys and Polly Newton White of Jefferson; nieces and nephews, Robert Matthew Anderson of Charlotte, NC, Howell Williams of Louisville, KY, Haley W. Reed of LaGrange, KY, Samuel Demsky, Elliott Demsky and Shyann Elizabeth Demsky of Maxeys; grand nieces and nephews, Mac Reed, Ava Reed and Jet Reed of LaGrange, KY.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Sunday, January 12, 2014 beginning at 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery in Maxeys.
