Josephine Handley

Josephine Campbell Handley of Athens, GA formerly of Albany, GA passed peacefully at home on September 25, 2024. 

Josephine was the owner of Jo’s Beauty Salon for over sixty years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Albany, GA. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Marion Church, her husband, Roy Walker Campbell, Sr., sisters, Dora Sanders, Dorothy Church, Edna Pierson, Ada Jackson Phillips and grandson, Roy Walker Campbell, III. 

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Campbell Tomlinson (Doug); son, Roy Walker Campbell, Jr. (Trish); grandchildren, Sean, Kimberly and Doug Tomlinson; great grandson, Blake Campbell. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences can be made at the family home.
