Joseph Daniel Jeter

Joseph Daniel Jeter, Sr., 71, of Athens, died Sunday, December 17, 2017. Born in Pensacola, FL, he was the son of the late John Huey Jeter and Evelyn Tillie Coleman Jeter. He was the founder and owner of Building Blocks Daycare. He is survived by his children: Joseph Daniel Jeter, Jr. of Florida, Christina Jeter of Athens, Theresa Jeter of Athens; sisters: Maxine Evelyn Kampf of East Atlantic Beach, NY, Kathleen Anne Collinan of New Kensington, PA, Shelley Marie Nash of St. Paul, NC and grandson, Vincent Paul Jeter. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Deacon Jim Gaudin celebrant.
