Joseph "Joe" David Collins, 77, died December 10, 2012.
A native of Kannapolis, NC, he was a son of the late Samuel L. and Katherine H. Collins. He retired from the United States Army after many years of active service.
Graveside services will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Collins-Brooks Family Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Mollie (Bill) Stirewalt of Mt. Pleasant, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
