John Henry Hoyle

John Henry Hoyle, 76, of Crawford, passed away on July 15, 2026. Born on June 1, 1950, he was the son of the late Henry Harper Hoyle and Dana Watkins Hoyle.

Johny loved the simple things in life and found joy in camping, going to the lake, fishing and riding his Harley every chance he got.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gene Barber, Celia Spears and Ouida Barber.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Louise Hoyle; children, Cynthia (Lee) Morton, Jeffrey John Hoyle; grandchildren, Nicole Weese, Alesha Carruth, Austin Carruth; great grandchildren, Micah Weese, Kendall Williamson, Jase Daniel, Knox Smith; brother, Joseph (Susan) Hoyle; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, East. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Winterville Cemetery.
