John Laverne DeWitt, 44, died June 9, 2014.
A native of Lansing, MI, he was a son of Robert L. DeWitt and the late Mary Cook DeWitt.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Patti; sister, Christina Miller of North Carolina; brother, David DeWitt of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; his beloved sheltie, Chubby.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
