John Howard Dellinger

John Dellinger passed away on Monday, August 29, 2023, after battling Leukemia. John was an Athenian of Athens, GA, and was raised at Kelly’s Pine Top location. He owned and operated John Dellinger Fence Company since 1975. Mr. Dellinger was a veteran and served with the United States Navy.
The family will have a visitation on September 9, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Watkinsville, GA Chapel.
He was married to Janet Carol Gillespie for 55 years; leaving behind a son, Todd Dellinger; grandchildren, Shaunne Dellinger and Morgan Dellinger and a brother, Joe Dellinger.
A Private ceremony for the family will be held later. Our family would like to Thank this wonderful town for the love and kindness shown to us.
