Jimmie Lee Cleghorne

Jimmie Lee Cleghorne left to meet her Lord on January 17, 2026.

Born to Collis Daniel and Henrietta Fields Patterson on February 16, 1940. She had one brother named Elliot Patterson.

She was raised in the Diamond Hill area of Colbert, GA on a farm owned by her grandparents. Shw was saved at the age of 13 at Pleasant Grove Church.

She was married at 16 to Mitchell David Cleghorne and they raised five children in their life together. Lovingly known as Nanny, she lived a long life always surrounded by family and numerous friends. She will be greatly missed!

She is survived by her son, Sam (Theresa) and grandkids, Ryan and Samantha, son, Billy (Vicki) and granddaughters, Katrina (Mike Wood) and Kristalyn “Krissy” Cleghorne, daughter, Michelle (Jeff Dillard) and grandsons Scott and Matt Cleghorne. She also has 10 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Pruitt Heritage on Hawthorne Avenue and Pruitt Heritage Hospice and Palliative care. Thank you for all you have done.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2025 at 12:00PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 12:00PM. Interment will follow the service at Colbert Cemetery.
