Jeffrey Owen Poulnot

Jeffrey Owen Poulnot, 62, died May 28, 2024.

Born in Athens, GA, he was a son of the late Harold Kennimer Poulnot and Shirley Ann Shannon Poulnot. 

Jeff was a truckdriver for many years and was a man with a helpful heart. He was an Oconee County Volunteer Fire Fighter for thirty-five years and first responder for thirty years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. 

Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Barbara S. Poulnot; children, Jamie Springer, Shannon Reilly, Jeffrey Owen (Leigha) Poulnot, Jr.; two brothers, Derrick Poulnot and Greg Poulnot; grandchildren, Scotty Moore (Ansley Nedza), Brianna Dickens, Claire Jade Pilon, Keiran Poulnot, Beau Poulnot, Mason Poulnot and Jaxton Poulnot; great grandchildren, Bo Dickens, Lilyeen Scallan, Brinlee Dickens, Sophie Nedza, Baby Moore; and many more “Community Children”. 

The family will receive friends Monday, June 3, 2004, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville 30677.
