To many, Jeannie will be fondly remembered for her homemade meals and sweet tea, offerings of comfort and love that she shared with her family.
An adoring mother and grandmother, she cherished every moment spent with her children: son Jeff Fincher and his wife Debbie, daughter Connie Fincher, and son Brian Miller and his wife Mandy. Her grandchildren—Brittany (Daniel), Taylor (Dylan), Brent (Jenn), Betthany, Ford, Anna Grace, Hayley, Max, Jake (Brittany) and Buck (Karla)—as well as her great-grandchildren, including Jaxson, Tyson, Tanner, Benson, Lachlan, Bristol, Blair, and Liam, were her pride and joy; she also adored her two nieces, Karen Callaway and Kristie Huff and her best friend, Linda McDaniel.

She skillfully taught the virtues of deep love, forgiveness, and gratitude, even in challenging times. Her gentle touch and comforting words will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
Throughout her life, Jeannie found joy in simple pleasures, such as getting her hair and nails done and watching hummingbirds enjoy the numerous feeders she placed around her yard. She was proud to be a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 123, which showcases her commitment to serving others and her community.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her father, William Cary Pitts; her mother, Lillian Chasteen Pitts; her son, Bill Fincher; and her siblings: brothers William Alvin Pitts, Melvin Pitts, and Bobby Pitts, and sisters Catherine Callaway and Doris Graham Callaway.
