Jeanette Eileen Phillips Smith

Jeanette Phillips Smith, 77, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2023. Born in Valdosta, GA she was the daughter of the late Clarence Cornelius Phillips and Margaret Stovall Phillips and sister to the late Pauline Daily and Elizabeth Batchelor. Jeanette was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church. Survivors include her four children: Benny (Pam) Hughes, Edward Hughes, Stacie (Mark) Filing, Elizabeth (Randall) Dykes; brothers: Clarence (Sally) Phillips, Don (Faye) Phillips and Jerry Phillips; grandchildren: Dustin (Courtney), Jordan, Averie, Hannah, Emily, Kristen, Brandon, Candice, Sam, Brittney, Layla and Skylar and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Elder Road Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Huff Cemetery.
