Jane Beeler Teaster

Crawford, GA - Jane Beeler Teaster, 60, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Beeler, a native of Bristol, TN, and a 1962 graduate of Bristol Tennessee High, died July 26, 2005, at home in Crawford, GA after a long and courageous battle with cancer and Yo syndrome.
She has gone to be with her Lord and Savior in whom she trusted. Jane was a member of Living Water Baptist Church in Arnoldsville, GA. Friends and family knew her best as "Gertie".
Mrs. Teaster leaves behind her devoted husband of forty-two years, Ray A. Teaster. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four daughters, Laurie Tolbert and husband, Greg of Athens, GA, Jan Wiggins and husband, Jeff of Lilburn, GA, Jo Holloman and husband, Keith of Crawford, GA, Stacey Gordon and husband, Kevin of Hull, GA. Jane's greatest joy in life came in her role as a grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Reid Foster, Jacob Holloman, Kyle Gordon, Morgan Holloman, Haley Gordon, Paige Wiggins, Heather Wiggins, Lawson Foster and Jeremiah Tolbert. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Miller of Beaufort, SC; brother, Bill Beeler of Knoxville, TN.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, 4355 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in Jane's honor to the American Cancer Society.
