James Robert Jarrett

James Robert Jarrett, 70, of Hull, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease.

Robert was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Jarrett. He is also preceded in death by his sister Shirley Jarrett Massey.

Robert graduated in 1971 from Madison County High School and then attended Athens Technical School. He worked for 10 years at Westinghouse Electric and retired from Noramco on June 12, 2015 with 25 years of faithful service. He was a member of Moons Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Diane Bramblett Jarrett; daughters: Laura (Shane) Baker and Katherine (James) Quarles; two precious grandchildren: JR and Ashlynn Quarles; sister: Susan (Ken) Crocker; brother: Randy (Becky) Jarrett; mother-in-law: Vera Bramblett and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 1PM until 2PM at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 2:30 at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pastor Mike Crowe will officiate.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brookside Commerce Memory Care Center, Kendra Adams and Hannah Ash of Bridgeway Hospice and the staff at When Kindness Means More for taking such good care of Mr. Robbie.
