James Frederick Cole, Jr., died Monday, September 2, 2013. A native of Athens, he was the son of the late James F. and Floyde Fitzpatrick Cole. Survivors include his wife Susan Killingsworth Cole; children: Christina Ellen Cole of Athens, James Frederick "Jake" Cole, III of Athens and brother: William J. "Jerry" Cole of Monroe.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Dr. Dane Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted. Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
