James Roger Altmiller, 54, died January 17, 2011.
A native of Louisville, KY, he was the son of Mary Altmiller and the late James Benjamin Altmiller.
Private services will be held.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion, Jenni Kelly; three sons, Timothy Altmiller, Benjamin Altmiller and Andrew Altmiller; brother, Joe (Carol) Altmiller; sisters, Debra (John) Harms and Patricia (Grady) Hester; nieces and nephew, Jennifer (Jeremy) Decou, Alicia Parker and Bud Altmiller; five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassionate Hospice, 1435 Hawk Creek Circle Suite 402, Cumming, GA 30041.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
