Jacob McDaniel Fluri

Jacob "Jake" McDaniel Fluri, 31, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Born on July 19, 1991 in Decatur, Georgia, Jake was a 2009 graduate of Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia having graduated with high honors. He was a member of the varsity baseball team, having played baseball and basketball his entire youth. He graduated from UGA with honors in 2013. Jacob was a gentle, kind soul that loved his family deeply, especially his 3 younger siblings. He never had a disparaging word about anyone and always had a way of lifting you up.

Jacob is survived by his mother Shannon Dowdy, his father Ted Fluri, brothers Zachary Fluri, Tyler Fluri and sister Makayla Fluri; grandmother Joyce McDaniel Frassrand, grandfather Mike Frassrand, aunt and uncles in Georgia and NY, uncles in NC, TN and New Zealand, four cousins in NY and extended family in TN that miss him dearly.

Private services will be held.
