Jack "Ricky" Richard Fitzpatrick

Jack Richard “Ricky” Fitzpatrick, Jr., died on July 20, 2022. Born in Athens, he was the son of Jack  Richard (Ceil) Fitzpatrick, Sr., and Janice Treadwell Brooks. Ricky was a brick mason by trade but had most recently worked for the University of Georgia Transportation Department as a bus driver. Ricky had a love for hunting and fishing like no other. We are sure he is fishing for Ole Henry right now. Survivors in addition to his parents include two daughters: Nicky (Heather) Kirkpatrick and Melissa (Charlie) Rudolf; his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Fordham; brother: Chris (Debbie) Fitzpatrick; step-siblings: Nikki Sanders, Chip Sanders, and Jeffrey Sanders;  grandchildren: Taylin, Madisson, Brennin, C.J., Brogen, Jasey, Rilynn and many nieces and nephews that adored him. Ricky chose to be cremated. A Fish Fry Memorial celebrating Ricky’s life will be announced at a later date.
