Jack A. Landers, 75, died May 1, 2005.
A native and lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was the son of the late Charles Otto and Myrt Anthony Landers. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Landers and Guy Landers. Mr. Landers owned and operated B & W Cleaners in Athens for 25 years. He was a lifelong member of High Shoals Christian Church where he served as deacon.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 11:00 AM at High Shoals Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Bishop cemetery.
Survivors include his sister, Mildred Hayes; three brothers, Dan Landers, Van Landers and Joseph Landers, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to High Shoals Christian Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
