Irene Jessie Welch

Irene Jessie Welch, 80, of Arnoldsville, died on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
Irene was born January 24, 1940, to the late Rev. Henry Allen Garrett and Edna Stewart Garrett in Jackson County. She was a member of Collier Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliftus Dwaine Welch; her son, Ray Labreque Alford; and her daughter, Bobbie Jean McLendon.
She is survived by her children: Tony Alford, Cheryl (Freddie) Nash, and Terri Patman, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to health concerns, a private graveside service will be held for immediate family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Bullins, Nick Bray, Tim McLendon, Michael Patman, Mason Patman, and Blake Alford.
