Howard B. Cole, Jr., of Athens, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly, February 27, 2014.
Howard was born in Cochran, Georgia, on January 25, 1945, to Howard B. Cole, Sr. and Merle Lister Cole. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard, Sr. and granddaughter, Carson Bailey Cole.
Survivors include his daughter, Cherie Cole Brock, son, Scott (Casey) Cole of Watkinsville, mother, Merle L. Cole, Watkinsville, brother, Don (Mable) Scarborough, Edmond, Oklahoma, and five grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Howard received his Business Degree from the University Of Georgia. He was a CPA with Howard B. Cole, Jr., CPA Firm. He was a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 3PM at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
