Hope Hardan Murphy

Hope Hardan Murphy, 27, wife of Marce Ceylon Murphy, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Born in Athens, Georgia on September 17, 1998, Hope was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Dorothy Mae Barnett, Phillip Golson and Jr. Hurrell.

In addition to her husband Marce, Hope is survived by her three children: Autry Diane Murphy, Greyson Allen Murphy and Rhyleigh Paige Murphy; parents: Justin Jay (Angel) Hardan and Debbie Gwennette Hurrell; siblings: Christopher Jimmy (Kayla) Hurrell, Justin Christopher Hardan, Kaitlin Cook, and Patrick (Nina) Darby-Nekvinda; grandparents: Dorothy and Jerry Dove, James Hardan, Jennifer Stone, Carol (Darrell) Murphy, Regina Crespo and Christopher Marce Murphy; nieces and nephew: Payton Danielle Cook, Addison Rose Hurrell, Stephen Axel Allen and Sara Lynn Allen.

A service celebrating Hope’s life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11AM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Pastor Jackson Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jay Hardan, Justin Hardan, Christopher Hurrell, Patrick Darby-Nekvinda, Cameron Hurrell, Mike Jones, Daniel Allen and Dewayne Golson.
