Hector was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He was a wonderful cook and a retired chef, who enjoyed cooking his native Puerto Rican dishes.
He is survived by his long-time partner, Donna Henderson; two sons, Casey and Cody Henderson of Winterville; two daughters, Jessica Martinez and Mercedes Cordero, both of Pennsylvania.
Hector enjoyed trips to the beach and mountains and also loved animals.
