Hazel Inez Witcher, 98, wife of the late William Neil Witcher, died on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Born in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Odell Fowler and Florrie Mae Fitzpatrick Witcher. Mrs. Witcher worked as a phone operator, and in management in food service and pharmacies.
Survivors include her three children: Eddie (Rita) Witcher, Richard Neil (Barbara) Witcher and Amanda (Keith) Ginn; grandchildren: Pam Ledford, Dan, Adell, Russ Andy and Alan Witcher and Maylin Matheny; step grandchildren: Rhonda Howington, James Hembree and Lorie Edwards; twenty three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11AM at Fitzpatrick Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6PM until 8PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
