Savannah - Harold Reese Daniell, 87, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
Born in Clarke County, he was the son of the late Watson and Hassie Weir Daniell.
Mr. Daniell was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009, at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST, with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Frady Daniell; son Alan Frady Daniell and his wife, Sherry Fletcher Daniell, all of Savannah; brothers, Randolph Daniell of Hartwell and Gunter Daniell of Watkinsville and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009, at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
