Gwyneth Francis Cowart

Gwyneth Cowart, 65, of Danielsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023

Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Griffiths and Mable Jo Aycock Griffiths. She loved to cook and most importantly, she adored her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dwayne E. Griffiths, George Griffiths, Jr. and Rose Marie Griffiths and two granddaughters, Harley and Savannah Freeman.

Survivors include her children, Bridget Freeman (Chad) and Brenton Cowart; brother, Richard Griffiths; grandchildren, Taylor and Trey Freeman; great-grandchild, Kaizer Freeman; ex-husband of 42 years, Dennis Cowart and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow at Colbert City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trey Freeman, Levi Huff, Blake Huff, Larry Vaughn, Larry Talley and Chad Bryant. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
