Gregory "Greg" Richard Kellar

Gregory Richard Kellar, 59, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Born in Athens, Greg was a son of the late William Norman Kellar Jr. and Faye Coker Kellar. Greg graduated from Oconee County High School and then received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia. He owned and operated Southeastern Accounting with offices in both Watkinsville and Covington. Greg was also a football statistician at the University of Georgia for more than 30 years and attended Crossroads Church.

Survivors include his brother, Jeff Kellar (Heather); nephew, Britt Kellar; maternal aunts Alice Combs (Billy) and Joyce Hardigree, Watkinsville, and Peggy Whitehead (David), Danielsville, and paternal aunts Betsy Barrow, High Point, NC, and Melba Kellar, Hull, many cousins and longtime friend and business partner Jessica Anderegg.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
