Gregory Keith Beard

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gregory Keith Beard, 58, of Danielsville, Georgia, who left us on November 23, 2024. Born on April 30, 1966, to Garland Andrew Beard and Margie Nell Dalton Fitzpatrick, Greg touched the lives of many people.

Greg is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Janet (Kinney) Beard, of Danielsville; his caring mother, Margie Nell (Dalton) Fitzpatrick, of Danielsville; his son, Matthew Beard, of Royston; three cherished grandchildren; and his brothers, Brian Beard, of Ila, and Steve Fleeman, of Jefferson. He is now reunited in peace with his father, Garland Andrew Beard, who preceded him in death.

We invite friends and family to come together in remembrance and support during this time. A visitation will be held at Erastus Christian Church in Commerce, GA, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 30, followed by a memorial service. In honor of his love for animals, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
