Grace Moore Posey

Bogart - Grace M. Posey, 86, wife of the late Quincy Cleveland Posey, died January 19, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center . Born in Recovery, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Mason and Martha Spear Moore. In addition to her husband of 67 years and her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Newell Moore and son in law, Sonny Clark. She and her husband were the owners of PAL Equipment in Jacksonville , FL. She was a member of Bogart First Baptist Church . Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Clark of Athens, Sue and Dan Griffin of Columbia, S.C., and Sarah and Don Newton of Apopka, Fla.; son, Lamar and Melissa Moore of Jupiter, Fla.; brother: Willis Mason Moore of Pinetta, FL, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2PM at Bogart First Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Tedder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park . Pallbearers will be Ron Young, Jack Ervin, Matt Bumgarner, Caleb Moore, David Posey and Ben McElroy.
