Athens - Goldie Cochran, 80, passed away Friday, February 02, 2007.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Fairy Ross Cochran and a member of Central Baptist Church in Athens. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Strickland.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2007, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST, with visitation one-hour prior the service. Pastor Joel S. Dover officiating with interment in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include sister, Sylvia Gunnels, two brothers, Jerry Cochran and Joe Cochran with a number of nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST is in charge of arrangements.
