Gladys Garcia, 89, died January 11, 2011.
A native of Jayuya, Puerto Rico, she lived for many years in New York City, NY before retiring to Orlando, FL. She was a member of St. Isaac Joques Catholic Church in Orlando.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, David A. Garcia; son and daughter-in-law, David A., Jr. and Rolande Garcia of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Enid Costello of Carlton; four grandchildren, Carmine, Mark, Daniel Costello and Jaime C. Hinsley; seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her son-in-law in 2008, Carmine Costello.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
