George "David" Satterfield, 56, died May 28, 2009.
A native of Wilkes County, GA, he was a son of the late Hubert and Lois Lloyd Satterfield and was preceded in death by a brother, Loyd Satterfield. He lived in this area all of his life and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Rev. Gordon Rhoden officiating. Interment will be in Comer Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Satterfield; three daughters, Joy Satterfield Wilkins, Jill Satterfield and Jessica Satterfield; sister, Jean Satterfield (Billy) Bittle; two grandchildren, Jaime Leigh Wilkins and Tyler David Wilkins.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
