Geneva Berry Young, 85, died January 9, 2011.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Artis and Lillie Graham Booth and was the widow of John C. Young.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Colliers Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Brunson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two children, Melvin (Marilyn) Young and Roy Gene Young; one brother, James Booth; two sisters, Betty McCannon and Cora Taylor; four grandchildren, Brad Young, Melissa Patterson, James Young and Kelli Young; four great grandchildren, PFC Bryce Whitley, Brooke Patterson, Jill Patterson and Thomas Young; two great-great grandchildren, Brandon Young and Kaden McDaris.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
